About Franz
My journey began in my early 30s, during a time of healing from work-related injuries sustained while on duty. That experience became a turning point—opening the path to deeper healing and transformation through shamanic healing practices. Over the years, my spiritual path has guided me through many ceremonies, rituals, and teachings shared by various healers, curanderos/curanderas, and gurus. Each experience has deepened my understanding and connection. Now, as a spiritual healer and sound practitioner with over 20 years of experience, my work in the realm of Curanderismo continues to evolve through dedicated training, personal exploration, and the wisdom gathered along the way. I’ve rooted my practice in my home space in San Marcos, CA, where I hold sacred space for others on their healing journey.
My lineage includes Kachiquel and Nahua. I was initiated by my Suri Guru, who resides in Haridwar, India, and I continue to receive ancient spiritual teachings under his guidance.
I am also honored to be initiated into the healing traditions of Curanderismo and sacred plant-based medicine by my mother, a curandera from León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Over the years, I’ve learned that we are never alone. They are present, supporting us along the way.
